since the original post didn't go through thought I'd send this extended one
out to you all:
<< I spent hours looking for a decent Mike Paradinas site and the best I
came up with was the crappy hyperreal page! Why hasn't anyone developed
a nicer site for the poor bastard? >
I have started working on a paradinas site, please feel free to send me
anything you may have (photos, articles, porn --whoops, wrong post :-). It's
gonna be good (hopefully). So far I salvaged the old discography from the
hyperreal site and it's just about all updated. I just need the info on
Lunatic Harness (those lucky enough to get a promo). I've got a couple of
articles from here and there and a whole bunch of reviews from the archives.
I'm working on recording real audio samples for both the paradinas site, as
well as my aphex site (in case you forgot: that's
http://members.aol.com/MultSanta/Aphex/index.htm i'm desperate for hits).
I haven't even begun to design the site yet except for a nice opening page i
threw together, with spaceships (sorta) :-) check out
http://muziq.home.ml.org/ to see that.
apologies about posting that whole faq here the other day. next time i'll
just put up a url.
also, i picked up cylob's latest effort (a little late, i know) and my
feelings are split on this one. smack em' up sharp is just a bit too crazy
for my taste. And that last track has no melody just rythem. But the two
sandwiched in the middle are great better than any of the other chris jeffs
stuff i heard, except the empathy box remixes. I gotta get my hands on diof
97' with the pusher.
BTW, Gonzi's RePHLeX page is bitchin' if you haven't yet, I urge you all to
go check that baby out! the whole design is just amazing. Great idea making
it like a record
and too the fellow putting together the AFX tape: I can stop by the hardware
store and pick up some sandpaper. record it and say it's the one he handed
out at the show and no one will know the better :-)
