Chris Sez : Shaped CDs also will not play in cd-rom drives or many other tray-based CD players. It's a stupid way to release a real album. Stupid fucking gimmick. Good for free promos, but not for selling. You hear me record manufacturers? You listening? Don't do that stupid shit. I got a stack of demo "shaped" cds once. One was full of Irish jigs and it was shaped like a shamrock. Another was full of Oktoberfest songs and was shaped like a frothy beer stein. Cool for about a second, not cool when it goes crunchy bnag grrrp in the CD-ROM drive. -CF

Exactly! I remember spotting a few Oasis singles with the CD in the shape of noel's head. :) Left 'em on the shelf. Aaron

plays fine in my cd-rom drive and in my tray spinner. i wouldn't suggest putting it in one of those cartridge multi-players. anyway, i think its a good laugh... _____ / ,-,_) /,_) (/ RESH Live & Direct from the G-Spot, Orange County, California, USA http://www1.linkonline.net/fresh/fresh.htm

They "waste data space." Maybe you're too young to remember 3" CD singles, (hehe) but it's basically the shape principle, only with the edges trimmed. Aaron
