Not really starting this up again, but thought I might inquire (as we're on the subject) if anyone knows why a CD player might skip. It's not the CDs as it does it indiscriminately and I've tried using these CDs for cleaning it (good or bad thing?). I've a feeling that the intentional drop in voltage here may be to blame (I can't imagine dropping from 220V would be good for British kit which is set for 240V). It certainly means that my vinyl, even tape, is far superior to CD at the moment. Sorry for the cross post. obamb: Just like to recommend Peter Gabriel's "Passion", which is wonderful in an "ethnic"-middle eastern sort of way (at least the bits inbetween skips). obidm: could anyone give me any reasons for and against acquiring some Cylob (I love the remix on the Ventolin 12"). Thanks inadvance. Tim Those who set out to serve both God and Mammon soon find there is no God.
