the only reason why i buy cds are because of mere lazyness. "amber", "music for adverts", "chill out", "selected ambient works vol.2" or "space" aren't ment to be cut off by someone flipping a vinyl. ment to be listened to as a whole. much better as a whole. soundwise other sounds is better on vinyl - no doubt, but this kind of music demands the clean, pure sound of a digital disc. i wouldn't want to rise and flip every 20 minutes when lying down with headphones either. self righteous cd listeners remind me of the "converted" in Invasion of the Body Snatchers. There will be no rest until all are assimilated. You will be happier when you are one of us!!!! Thanks for selling all your classic vinyl. I've been buying classic jazz records for $4-10 and I love it. I'll probably snap up your cds when you chase some other new thing too. :) why do you disc-ers care so much about us happy vinyl listeners? Little pops aren't enough to make me replace my back catalogue. Is that what bugs you? hahahaha Mark Edward Bowen Warmed Breakdown mb@gettins.bche.uic.edu

Not if you use a CD changer. These doohickeys are *the main* reason to buy stuff that you're going to listen to (as opposed to play out) on CD. That, and the fact that they never get any worse than when you pulled them out of the wrapping, unlike vinyl, which starts warmer and thicker, then fills up with scratches and pops over time. hmmm.. not to stretch this lame thread any further, but.. do remember what RDJ said in an interview about listening to CD's... he reckons that you have to listen to a cd in 2 parts, and not listen to it the whole way through :)) __ __\ \ / /_\ \ \_____/ , m7=
