BIOSPHERE: Substrata CD (Origo Sound)
Back again! The "new" Biosphere is not as dark as he used to be, the sound
is more moody and melancolic in a sparse soundscape, not far from Aphex
Twin's dreamy "Selected Ambient Works 2". New elements is also floating
Cocteau Twins-ish guitars (!).
BIOSPHERE: Insomnia CD (Origo Sound)
Soundtrack to a norwegian psychological thriller. Dark and short
soundscapes witch fits the film like a hand in glove. A bit more like "old
style" Biosphere, but mostly without rhythms.
SKETCH: Abeyance DCD (End Of Hum / Muld)
Double CD on their own label. On the first CD they dwell in the deep and
dark abstract sounds of electro acoustics, while the other goes from the
abstract ambient to almost Orb-ish rhythmic playfullness. Only 500 copies
availiable!
CIRCULAR: Nanotopia CD (Origo Sound)
Nanotopia is mostly ambient, with a few groovy techno parts. Random noises,
street-musicians, dialog from THX 1138 (George Lukas' debut film) is mixed
in, all blended and put together in a continous flow. Not far from FSOL's
Lifeforms and Facil.
STERNKLANG: Freestylespacefunk CD (Beatservice BS014)
Sternklang's debut is a mixture of electronica, instrumental hiphop and
relaxed and funky drum'n'bass. A perfect summer-album!
AEDENA CYCLE: Albite CD (Beatservice)
Dark arctic ambient in the Biosphere tradition is mixed with influence from
jazz, eastern flavours and intricate rhythm patterns. "Very good
album.Somewhere inbetween Luke Slater?s chill out, Mixmaster Morris, Move
D, and good old Geir J. Nice sounds, mood, and flow." Nick Sillitoe

NNC: Fosen CD
Exclusive CD on their own label. Very floating and abstract ambient. "Slow
waves of cosmic radiation, subliminal communication, deep radio-dives in
outer space and rhythms in slow motion under water" Geir Jenssen,
Interphase.
MIND OVER MIDI: Elektrical Aktivity CD (Beatservice)
A collection of tracks from the Elektrical Aktivity 12" series, with the
main focus on the experimental electronica. But a few dance floor
favourites are also included. Compared to Aphex Twin, Autechre, Black Dog,
Reload.
