It's hard for me to accept that it's James that's behind such heavenly noises. Also mixes well with almost anything RHK puts out. grant.h.horne http://delta.is.tcu.edu/~ghhorne/ all sex appeal, no dots. except that one.

It's definitely worth picking up... a fine collection of electro tracks fit for a king. It's a very listenable release... warm and enveloping... Well, obviously some people liked this so I guess it's up to everyone to decide BUT: I think it's extremely boring. I doubt Warp would've released this if it wasn't by RDJ. His worst release in my opinion. Johan. ,,, /'~'\ ( 0 0 ) +----------------------------oOOO--(_)--OOOo----------------------------+ Johan Jaatinen Electronic music maker Anika@Info.LiU.SE Oooo. It's damn good, although I don't know that the Richard James supposition has ever been confirmed. There's just as strong an argument for it being Richie Hawtin. At any rate, it's available again through normal channels, so it should be pretty easy to pick up. GAK is Richard D. James. It is still available on both formats. g.

Yes... It's absolutely RDJ. This was an old DAT recording that Rob Gordon received many many moons ago from RDJ. No information about who the artist was...Just GAK written on it. So, like most labels who get bombed with all forms of music daily, it got tossed aside. Not until after Aphex blew up did he ask Rob about the Gak DAT he sent him. GAK?! That's YOU!! is it rdj though?...... one of the tracks has a synth line almost identical to the track musik by plastikman.... It is definately worth picking up anyway ;) -- k.F "I tried unloading banana trains and for while I had a job collecting horses hooves for a sausage skin and glue manufacturer.
