On some mail list an individual remarked about a ZTT label musician stating that after his band gets their new single out of the chutes he's going to start work on an Art Of Noise project. How in the hell is this possible? Ann Dudley & J.J. Jeczalick had rights n the name -or so I thought! This is good though as it was originally Trevor Horn's idea that they should get together (for a concept he had). If anyone can back this up with concrete info, PLEASE, lemmeknow! artisan001 If you don't like it, don't klick on it.

Oh no, oh no I don't believe it, b-b-bum! It's never going to live up to their previous stuff. It's like Kraftwerk, or Derrick May releasing new material. Doh! pHile PS Do you think they'll be getting Paul Morley to do the liner notes? "Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana." Groucho Marx

Morley has been back with ZTT for a while, so it's less far-fetched than the idea of some non-Dudley/Jeczalick person doing an AoN project in the first place . . . -- ::: Lazlo (lazlo@swcp.com; http://www.swcp.com/lazlo) ::: Internet Music Wantlists: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo/Wantlists

Hi, I could be wrong, but i think this might be in reference to "the art of... series", which is already upto no.3, so maybe the musician in question is working on a remix for No. 4. Btw, "the art of.. series" is just remixes of Art of Noise tracks. So the obvious questions doesn't get asked.. i'll provide the answer. The first three are: The Ambient Collection (1990) remixed by Youth with Alex Patterson on decks AON: The FON Mixes remixed the likes of LFO, Carl Cox, Prodigy, etc AON: The Drum and Bass Collection or something like that (i don't own it) I hope that helps. Regards, John
