Good grief; I just (like two seconds ago) heard 'to cure a weakling child' on a 30-ish second advert on UK's Channel 5 for Orange telecom/telephones/whatever. Bloomin' unexpected... :) Rubyjune.

Err, pardon my naivety, but I thought there were only 4 channels in the uk? Aaron

The fifth channel has only recently (a couple of months now I think) started broadcasting. So far its programming has been very, *very*, poor - it sells itself on a "what the people want" sort of line and has fixed times for certain types of broadcasting (film at 2100hrs; comedy at 2300hrs; sport for 5 and a half hours a night from midnight [even though they don't have the rights to much actual sport bar baseball...]). Viewing figures indicate that the maximum audience they've had so far is around 1.7 million which, for a terrestrial channel, is not so good (even the cookery show "Ready, Steady, Cook" on one of the other four channels can boast around 2.6 million viewers) :) Rubyjune.
