Coming from Scotland I pronounce the ch in Autechre as it is in Scots (as if loch, sort of like the j in Spanish). Hope this helps. Tim Those who set out to serve both God and Mammon soon find there is no God.

Direct quote- "It doesn't matter how you say it, it's not a real word anyways." I say aw-tick-er... who cares. They rule no matter how you say it. Later. SHANe

From whom? I doubt very much that the lads would say "anyways". That expression is usually reserved for red-necks or trailer-trash (or Beavis & Butthead :-).

Butthead: "Autechre Rule!". My A$0.05: "Or-teck-er" or alternatively "Aw-teck-ah" (which both sound pretty-much the same with my 50/50 brighton.uk/adelaide.au accent). The lads were on the radio here a couple of years back and said it that way. -- ____ ______ ____\ Q-Force mailto:qforce@graviton.levels.unisa.edu.au \_____ _____\ Visit http://graviton.levels.unisa.edu.au/~qforce/ \____
