Yeah - tis a promo. The Cylob _Diof 97_ I picked up recently was as well. Weird - all my old 'Phlex promos are whites but these two are full art and that.

Hmm. Label art states that the main disc has the live _Asteroids_. The second bonus disc isn't track-listed at all on the sleeve. The label art is a white label with some seventies style drawings of space shuttles and women in bikinis. Which makes more sense when you look at it. No track listing. Three tracks - one very much like _Thats Mutuality_.

Weird. The one with _Asteroids_ is 51, the other one is defn. 46.

Nup. As above, its three tracks, the one that sounds like _Thats Mutuality_ has its own side. The second one on the flip has similar chords to _Radiopropulsive_ I think.

It says "CAT-046" on both but has "EP2 Side C" and "EP2 Side D" next to it. Looks like it was added afterwards. Gosh - isn't this anal looking at etched run-outs fun. No, really.

not to add to the confusion, but the _Desktop Robotics_ cd (CAT 051 CD) has: desktop robotics leaf's brought by the wind hug me tight asteroids over berlin - live arnos park dappsoft packmac deluxe -version despite a note that "the last track on this cd is a data track: Pacmac Deluxe by Dappsoft," the 6th track must be "Arnos Park..." as only track #1 is silent. tracks #2-#6 all contain music. whaaaz up wi' dat?! i don't want to mismatch titles/tracks, so ... 2: starts out simple but catchy, abrasive Monomorph/D'Arcangelo distorto-beats with a little 'pinging' synth bit. lusher synths around 1:25... the beats don't really change, but a very sweet bass-y (not bass) line comes in, giving the effect of SAWII with more rhythmic muscle. sounds more mature than _Module 2_. 3: clanky rhythm with much added space, draped in velvety synths, and purveying an overall underwater effect. like a slowly sinking submarine... anyone ever wonder what sort of electronic music Bernard Hermann would have made? here ya go. 4: old school electro b-line and finger-snapping riddims. but there are those sighing melodies again... so retro, so beautiful. 5: scratchy, squeaky drum patterns and more of that Aphex/Kinesthesia key noodling. the refrain has a gospel-friendly church organ tone... never really 'goes' anywhere, and very very short. 6: jumpier, 'tuff'er old school with a House inflection. the beauty of BW's music is in his attention to detail, and you hear it here - melodic lines intersecting, entwining, coming together and prying themselves apart. you've heard all the sounds before, but you haven't heard them *used* the way Gianluigi uses them. except on other BW records!
