I've been wanting to say this for some time. There seems to be no letup of mediocre compilations being released these days. Not only do these assortment of musical lollipops detract from artistic personality and direction, but they usually fail to deliver anything substantive or lasting as well. I've never quite understood some people's infatuation with compilations, aside from sampling an occasional artist or label. There's just so much more to music. Tim
