Just to bump up the amount of traffic about this recording, _Kulma_ is a
wicked album. If I had to describe it in two words, "rhtyhmic static"
would be those words, but it's so much more than that. The soundscapes
here are very "textural," very dense. Like a recording you can touch,
almost.
It would be a crime if they didn't come out with a remix single for
"Teurastamo." I heard this on the radio going home once and nearly
drove off the road! Though it took me about a second or two to realize
that they were playing the song and not that I was losing the
reception. :-) I think it would be very cool to view this piece from
different remix perspectives.
I like _Vakio_ and "Osasto EP" as well, but _Kulma_ is the best of the
bunch. The tracks on "Osasto" seem a little less focused, and _Vakio_
seems a little colder, but if you like _Kulma_ I would definitely seek
them out.
