it would be difficult to discribe the skint sound because it seems to avoid pigeonholes. i would highly recommend both brassic beats compilations because of depth and variety. pick up number two first, of course, because it's more current and others will be more impressed. keywords for *some* of the genres touched upon: funk infused breakbeat house brit club dark scratch experiment sound collage shaken body mood etc well, i tried now, you try at their homepage they've got soundbites: http://www.loaded-records.com/skint enjoy roller skinting
