hello greg clow wrote: ---to the list as well since I'm sure there are lots of you who would be interested. Let me know what you think...--- methinks greg has done good immerse should practically be required reading on this list - i'm wondering if it's difficult to find outside of toronto? - anyways, i've found about about more cool music from the first 2 issues of immerse than my 4 months on this list - (this is more of a compliment to immerse than a dis on idm... i'm sorry but it's true) i'd also like to add that these guys have impeccable tastes in music - their reviews are spot-on, and their tastes are obviously and thankfully unaffected by hype/trends also search out issue#1 for interviews with autechre, meat beat, staalplaat and c.key on download/skinny puppy - not to mention any back issues of MFTEQ, i still find myself going back to those for info go buy solvent goodbye

IMMERSE is distributed by Dutch-East India here in the States, so it shouldn't be too hard to find - or order from any good retailer.

as you'd expect from MfTEQ people, IMMERSE leans towards ambient and post-industrial experimental music. but i'm trying to nudge them in a more IDM-biased direction. look for more coverage of the people we know and love - and of people you haven't heard yet but SHOULD love - in future issues. :-D have ye all noticed that the magazine is one of the few immune from the DJ IS GOD/club-centric sickness which infects most music press? not much coverage of the guitars-and-vocals set, either. refreshing, isn't it? GuerillaG2-G4/ gg who 'works' for the magazine, yeah. but for love, not money. np: Zoar - Cassandra (Point) ...trying to find something nice to say about this one, but. . .
