about the future of kraftwerk(releasewise). it's goig to painful for the devout collectors out there. everything has supposedly been confirmed by emi with a album in the can and a single planned. now here's the painful part.... for the single for promotional purposes, they will be releasing SIX DIFFERENT PROMO CDS WITH DIFFERENT MIXES ON EACH. ouch ouch ouch. now here's the punch while you're already down. only 300 COPIES OF EACH. now that really hurts.............. as to the spotter quuestion, has anybody ever come across this 12" and does anybody know anything about it? here goes with the description... generic white cut out hole sleeve(this one also has a silver/reflective astralwerks sticker slapped on it). each side side of the label are the same only one side is done in an orange colour and one is done in a blue colour. the different coloured items are a square that takes up most of the label, is a hand drawn impression type thing, and has dots/dials? drawm on it. the record is entitled(in a block font) ELECTRONIC BATTLE WEAPON. now this is th e intriging thing that compelled me to buy it. the catalogue code iS "XDUSTLPDJ 2" the runoff groove is done in a perssed stamp lettering(as opposed to a hand etched) with the signature being "mike's the exchange". anybody who knows, thanks in advance.

This is the Chemical Brothers. Jon Drukman posted about this and it was discussed extensively two weeks ago. Check the archives for more info. C. -- C.Hilker (cspot@hyperreal.com) "He was mesmerized by the light-pictures, and the music sent him right into dreamland"
