Not that this has much to do with music, but...
If you regard language as being "invented by a culture" then I suggest your
conception is as errant as the person's conception of "art" which you find
so objectionable.
Natural languages are not *invented* by anyone. Artificial languages have
been invented, but they remain just that. There are fundamental
differences between spoken and written language, but as for claiming that
pens influence what you compose..hmmm....
Music: I'll be very interested to see what people make of the new sqpr. I
like it, but I think he's gone as far as he can in this particular idiom.
Have to say I'm rather disappointed by the new Locust single. I can't see
what he's trying to do. I'll give it a few more listens but it seems
conceptually flawed to me and the execution doesn't transcend the concept
sufficiently. Whatever that means.
