regarding richard brown: could someone in the know on this fine guy maybe help me a bit with figuring out what he's done and in what style? as far as i can tell of his outcast album, out of tune on one little indian, seems sort of poppy dance, like that damned rollercoaster single. then there's rhythm invention on warp circa 1993...what's this sound like? finally: what's he done thus far that's comparable to his harsh and abrasive treatments of bjork's hyperballad and enjoy? not the relatively-soft ones, but i think they're called the over the edge mixes....anything released by himself that recalls this sound? and maybe someone could describe that frightening husikesque project...i say frightening cos i'm not wholly into beaumont hannant and would prefer to stay away... jp
