James, this is a review by my bud Tom Churchill that I scammed from 313: -- Sluts & Strings & 909 - Carrera (Cheap) Great new album from Pulsinger and Tunaken. Nine tracks of dirty low- slung phunk, and a bit of a departure from the disco-house of 'Steaming Promises'. Raw electro influences come through in tracks like 'Put Me On' and 'Dear Trevor...', while 'Puta' and 'Dig This' display a mastery of fucked-up bluesy hip-hop. Jazzy, analogue, and with tongue firmly in cheek, another gem from the Vienna crew. -- Looks cheeky enough to investigate. || [CiM] || simonw@sol.ftp.com || http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Alley/4492/
