Has anyone heard the self-titled album by Figurera on Komplott? Very distinctive, otherworldly textures and rhythms that may satisfy those who think recent Ae and Schematic material is "too complex" for its own good. (I don't feel that way; music can't get too complex for me.) Whatever the case, this album makes me very excited for the future of IDM--whatever the hell that is. I tried to negotiate around the Web site [www.artech.se/~komplott] but had little success finding more info about this artist. The cover has scant details, of course. Anybody have the scoop on this obscure genius? yeah, I got this yesterday and have to say I loved what I have heard so far... I haven't got my head round some of the stuff yet, but most of it is top quality IDM material... well worth tracking down.... -- Dan --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
