Some more plug news from ATN this morning: "Addicted To Noise staff writer Gil Kaufman reports: That upcoming NIN remix EP will feature a number of remixes of the song "Perfect Drug" (the single from the Trent Reznor-produced Lost Highway soundtrack album). Putting their mark on "Perfect Drug" are The Orb, Meat Beat Manifesto, Space Time Continuum and Plug. the EP (due May 13) will also have a bonus "NIN remix" that a source told ATN starts off with a "sort of Aphex Twin vibe (doh! imagine that?-g) and then goes into a harder, more Trent vibe (harder than aphex? haha. yeah right, let me guess he cranks up those guitars REALLY loud!-g)." A DJ-only promo remix by Aphrodite will also be made available around the same time. As for Reznor's Nothing Records label, ATN has learned that both Plug (aka Luke Vibert aka Wagonchrist) and legendary German industrial group Einsturzende Neubauten have finally signed on the dotted line and joined the Nothing family. To me it looks like Nothing is going to be a great label. Instead of slagging this leather-pants-wearing-guitar-using Mr. Reznor, maybe you ought to give him some credit ? I do ask myself what Aphrodite is doing there. I liked "Style from the Darkside" and some others, but he seems to do the same trick every record. Is Nothing meant to be a worldwide affair or limited to North America ? Anyone know ? On the subject of guitars: Jochem Paap has bought a guitar. His comment: "It's a sound source, right ?" For signing Coil. For signing Neubauten. For signing Vibert. Yes. I don't know about Ninja releasing the Plug stuff. What makes you so sure they would have released it already ? Why didn't they ? If they had a deal going on with Vibert, why didn't it come through ?

Dear,Jon I have that CD and think it sounds like a wet turd dropping into a pail.I tried it with samplecell and it sucks.I get better shit with a Micro Moog and that is with it not pluged in.I think this CD-ROM is a bore,and the best sound you could get out of it,is when it hits the wall and drops into the trash.So there is my review of a so called CD.Oh!and Jon why don't you tell Keith you love him and that you want to give him children,because,how you write about him it sound like you love him in a very special way.:) Have a nice day:) Shad at Isophlux Records
