The track vic acid has very good, choppy, breaks, the kind you'd expect
from
squarepusher. Not that they sound stale or overused, you understand.
A nice bassline runs throughout the song, and becomes heavily distorted
a
few measures in. Check warpnet for a sample, in real audio form.

This track seems very hard, fast, and yet danceable. It definatly
possesses
an acid meets drum and bass quality. The 303 line is very abrupt, and
at
one point in the song it almost sounds like it is cut up a la the drums.
Incidentally, yes that's a crowd. :)

The beeps and bleeps remind me very much of the beeps and bleeps on
track
3 of the new aphex record. They have a quality about them that reminds
me of a malfunctioning r2d2. Then the melody comes in, very abrupt and
unexpected like. The melody is, in my opinion, very beautiful. The
first time I heard it it made me smile uncontrollably. Then it drops
out, and, as already stated, there are more bleeps and sonic "popcorn
popping".

This is part of track 4, an introduction of sorts.

I concur. Last and least, but not to be overlooked nonetheless. The
303
riff is catchy, and becomes even more so as it morphs near the end of
the song.

It's a good record, but I think squarepusher has done better: to this
day I can't get the jazz flavored jams of Port Rhombus out of my head.
Problem Child is one of my favorite Squarepusher tracks, the bassline
gets me every time I listen to it.
