there are a few crap tracks in there (the boom-booms, ok? the boom-booms!), but i think about 2/3 of this album is great...it's not as refined as _truth_ and therefore not, as far as my tastes are concerned, as satisfying, but vh's rhythm programming and especially his percussion textures continually astound me... plus, those last two tracks are genius and, at nearly half an hour in length, are, as you said, worth the price of the album alone. sc onnow: blonde redhead : fake can be just as good (touch & go)
