There's an album? I got the 12" which I thought was pretty average - nothing really stood out from it. The Autechre remix however is fantastic - I prefer it to the _Envane_ stuff say. Kind of drum'n'bassey but at the same time sounding uh, nothing like it. Some other stuff I picked up: Too Funk : _Hotel Ibis_ (Ferox) Switched-on house with a hint of cutupd*scoloop. Theres a lush semi-beatless Detroit number thats just short, damnit. Some new 12" on Sublime by Rei someone Really nice - smooth kind of Ishii chords and then lots of analogue toms and percussion. Like Morgan Geists material when its tired out after a long day. Kind of like Move D in his quieter moments as well. The D.Knox 12" on Elypsia which I've forgotten the name of (_Conscious EP_? Help me Lance) Hefty, quirky techno in the Black Nation style. Theres a deep, dark track on here but the other stuff veers towards a housier edge. Elypsia are ones to watch. Space DJz 12" on NovaMute So-so techno. A little more progression would be nice and it really needs a bit more "oomph" behind it. _Firekeeper_ - Red Planet 7 Gorgeous Red Planet techno on the A-side and Octave One on a harder, trackier mixing tip on the flip. Extremely fine. || [CiM] || simonw@ftp.com || http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Alley/4492/
