I would like to put together and release a compilation similar to the following albums--but I'll need a little financial help (and clearance from the various labels) to put it together. I have seen a rapid decline in really good experimental listening music comps since 1994, and it brings tears to my eyes(sob, sob...), not to mention the fact that the good comps are never pressed on vinyl. I'd like to make a compilation similar to: Types:A Kudos Sampler Out There...A Thread Through Time Objets D'Art(of course) Threads Modular Sound Innovations(92 ambient comp.) Global Technological Innovations (Artificial Intelligence)-need i mention this one? If you're interested, and have a little pull with the labels, have them (or you) contact me. What I plan to do is make analog cassettes of submissions that I get (and contribute my own material), and distribute them amongst those on the IDM list-free of charge. I'll pick up part of the tab if the submissions are really, really good and original. Derek
