Hi,
quoted 1 line #5. FUTURE SOUND OF MELBOURNE Is It A Dream>#5. FUTURE SOUND OF MELBOURNE Is It A Dream
I just love all those future sound of "xxx" names, takes the piss in a friendly way, don't you think ? I've heard about a 'Future Sound of Lisbon' and TV99AD, those tacky fellars, have been known to call themselves 'Future Sound of Lelystad'. The last one really is an in joke. Lelystad. I guess you english types out there could compare it to Milton Keynes. There's nothing there... right, Hans ? Anybody know any more Future Sounds of ... ? Not too sure on the traxs but FSOM (unfortunate name but they have stuck with it for years), Voitek, Mystic Force and Voiek are very solid live. Shaolin Wooden Men are not bad if your into Goa. Severed Heads and Boxcar have been round years. It seems to be a good mix of styles. S'pose this isn't much help but its better than none.

^^^^^^ Voiteck Andersen Web links to some of these people: Plethora at http://www.powerup.com.au/~abundant/plethora/index.htm Aquila at http://www.juicerecords.com.au/ ...and you'll find the guys on these labels lurking on the sublumen mailing list. (More info at http://graviton.levels.unisa.edu.au/sublumen/ ) Aquila (AKA Matt Thomas) is also involved with the "undefined recordings" label here in Adelaide. Here's a fragment that was posted this morning on sublumen: Matt Thomas wrote: Undefined Recordings is (yet another) adelaide label with a techno- trance focus. The label is managed by Tony Caraccia (central station records), with a small team (mostly myself and trist jones) providing creative direction and drive. With ten releases so far it looks as if 97 will be another big year. 5 releases are currenly in various stages of post-production (4 12"s and a CD). The discography is as follows: (don't quote me precisely on this as it the numbers may be a bit muddled and it all gets confusing with the numbrs of the new releases:
