To invoke the memory of "Adventures.." again, it was that record's rhythm tracks that woke me up to the possibilities of ambient/electronic music as a source of much groove. Which is to say, The Orb are one of the originators of crunchy mid-tempo programming. As for "Orblivion", I think the tracks are consistently good, but none are great- no showstoppers (or starters). The tracks would have more impact if they had room to breathe. The album has a very homogenous sound, making a complete listen a bit of an overdose IMO. obOrbital: The soundtracks for "The Saint" looks to be a good solid domestic source- Orbital, Sneaker Pimps and others. Anybody have a full track listing/comments? cheers, Brad
