Picked up a new(?) 12" on Penny Black, Twisted Anger Vol 3. Only two tracks,
seven sins and....oh well i can't recall. If you want evil, minimal jungle
this is it. It is dark, hard and slamming. One side is pretty straight up
with lots of phlanged, chopped up beats and heavy bass. Some dark synth but
nothing more than a little sweeping and modulation. The other side is almost
atmospheric in how sparse it gets at times, going back and forth between 80bpm
and 160 with the percussion. An excellent release. If you thought the new
photek was dark, think of this as a total eclipse!!!
