Does anyone know what jiri.ceiver is up to lately? And who, exactly, is jiri.ceiver, and what's he going for? "osiac.rmx" on the _head.phon_ album totally knocks me out occasionally, and I'd be psyched to hear more about what he/she is after musically... 'Preciate it. - DJ Bug Oh, and so what exactly does DJ Food do "live"? Is it worth seeing?

Well, well, well... I appear to have returned! Not that I ever really went away - in fact I've just finished catching up on about 200 IDM-Digests - my eyes are on fire!!! :) Anyway, sorry I haven't been in touch for a while - I promise I'll Email you all individually soon (Lance, Franz, Doug W, etc)

I was rather disappointed with the new CYLOB, as I loved "Rewind" and was expecting more of the same, but the new JONES is ace - "I'm the Disco Dancer" sounds like a Soft Cell 45 played at 33, and the Cylob mix of the first track is very nice too. It's a shame there's only really those 2 songs on there though :( I've been making some music myself, and although not much of it can be classed as IDM, there are a few tracks you might like to check out..."One Summer" is quite a nice classic retro-house/detroit type thang... Have a listen at http://www.mp3.com/midflight Finally, I notice that the 12" of the "The Fear" by U-Ziq contains a remix not on the CD single - anyone know if it's worth getting? Regards, Aca

Dear All, I wonder if anyone could help me to get to know more about Jiri.Ceiver. All I could get from the web was their presense in discographies. First time I heard them was on Harthouse 7 compilation and they stood out not only by the lower sound signal on CD but by the impressive sound handling technic as well. But when the friend of mine introduced me to their Jig, Amble & Lisp '97 I was truly amased. I recommend it to all those of you floating between Detroit and idm (My closest guess is Neil Landstrumm's Bedrooms and Cities). It is one of the most twisted music I've ever heard. Its brilliant that's why I would like to tell you about it. Sorry for the laudatory tone. Alien np. subj.
