According to today's SF Chronicle Datebook section, Automator (Dan Nakamura,
producer of the Dr Octagon album) is currently recording a collaboration with
Mike Simpson (Dust Brothers) and Prince Paul (formerly of Stetsasonic, De La
Soul's ex-producer). Should be out this fall under the artist name the Good,
the Bad, and the Ugly. It'll include appearances by De La, DJ Shadow, and
Beck, "with many more big names to be added." I expect it'll be a mutha.
Speaking of the Dr Octagon album, the same piece mentions it's scheduled
to be reissued on DreamWorks SKG, with three new tracks.
