Expect the usual aural ambience tonight with The Prof taking over the controls after last weeks DJ Food takeover of B.i.S. you ever heard the beats from galaxy 261? they're crazy, trust me....and the prof is gonna be playing them tonight. uh oh! (Note about the DJ Food archive: I've been trying to get this show archived, but I've been having a hard time finding a place to put it. I've got it encoded in both mp3 and real audio format, I just need some web space...so if you'd like to help out and provide some space, send me an email. keep checking the beats in space website(www.beatsinspace.cjb.net) for more info on where you can check out the archive...hopefully it'll be up on www.live365.com soon) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What: Live radio show/netcast of The Professor spinning downtempo/leftfield, drum and bass, ambient and whatever else has that jazzed up/spaced out feel to it. When: Sunday nights> 12-2am(nyc)....9pm-11pm(w.coast)......5-7am(london).....1-3pm(japan)....and 4-6pm(sydney) Where: http://www.beatsinspace.cjb.net or http://www.wnyu.org for the live internet broadcast...tune your dial to 800 AM if you live in downtown nyc near nyu (or channel 16 on nyu cable). send any comments about the show to this address... -tim <the prof> http://www.beatsinspace.cjb.net http://www.wnyu.org tcs208@is.nyu.edu studio line: 212.998.1818

get ready for another chilling episode from deep space. the prof is gonna be controlling the decks with help from is friendly robot v.i.n.cent. (v.i.n.cent does the talkin' while the prof does the disc jockeyin') Expect some definite space funk. lots of stuff is going down at the B.i.S HQ, so get ready....here's a little peek at what's happening: the DJ Food (ninja tune records, uk) show can now be downloaded as a mp3 from the B.i.S website...Beats in Space now has a show running 24 hours a day at www.live365.com. This will feature past B.i.S shows that you can sit back and enjoy in streaming mp3 format. Right now there's about 4 hours of music, but there's plenty more to come.....a new website is coming!!!! yeah!! the B.i.S website is getting a much needed makeover, so look out for the new site(big thanks to minusbaby). ok, that's it from the B.i.S HQ transmission....keep listening to the space beats. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What: Live radio show/netcast of The Professor spinning downtempo/leftfield, drum and bass, ambient and whatever else has that jazzed up/spaced out feel to it. Check out tonights show as the prof defies all science and plays the beats heard only in the vacuum of space. It's not everyday that you get to check out beats like this! News from the BiS HQ::: ::: a free program developed by the prof is gonna be up on the BiS website(http://www.beatsinspace.cjb.net) very soon for people to download and play with. This program will let you create your own space beats...no prior musical experience needed. It's only gonna be available for those with macs(it's about time mac users got something for free!), so sorry to all the window users out there...go play with VJamm(www.ninjatune.net/vjamm), something us mac users can't do. :::If you're in the nyc area check out the prof tonight at Halcyon in Brooklyn from 8 to 9:30pm.(go to www.halcyonline.com for directions) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What: Live radio show/netcast of the prof spinning downtempo/leftfield, drum and bass, ambient and whatever else has that jazzed up/spaced out feel to it.
