Found it on CD at select-a-disc on berrwick st. for 4 quid. Not bad, eh? Talk about a disc that deserves a re-press. A totally fucking seminal record, goes great with SAW II. I'll put a track or two from it on the next Luke Vibert .ra thingy.

I think it was repressed (on CD anyway) last year as it was all over soho just after I'd got one from the usa and rising high needed the cash by all accounts ;P reload a collection of short stories has been repressed (cd) as well btw complete with the 'limited' amazing short stories. i had 186 IDM posts this morning and I read 2 or 3, what is going on? twas worthwhile for the top review of chiastic slide by mr reynolds however I suppose. g.

there seem to be too many people who haven't read the IDM pages before they started posting. When I first got on this list (a few months ago) I would respond to maybe about 5 posts on average, and then ALL the posts were about music. now I found myself reading 103 messages and only responding to one. (the quote with nothing added, sorry ppl.. accident) ..and also maybe 10 of the posts were about music, if even that. it seems the quality of the content has gone down severely in the past few months.. :( -- (this part is to everyone else) I can't give an opinion about discoteque because I've not heard it. although U2 is *NOT*, I repeat.. *NOT* an IDM band.. one release does not make it one. if U2 continues making that kind of music, then I reckon it can then be considered IDM, but then again, I may very well say discoteque does not resemble IDM, I would have to hear it first. Please end the useless bickering.. there is a place for it, it's called PRIVATE e-mail. -- __ __\ \ Aurafix aka Hillie / PHD ^ DAMONES / /_\ \ http://www.clark.net/pub/buh/index.html \_____/ >> buh@clark.net >> < > .. >> .<>> >> > , m7= Do re mi fa so la ti .. Has anyone even came close to listening to their "secret life of trance 7" 4lp? I thought Rising High had folded on the SLOT series--the only ones worth listening to was Vol. 1/2/4 anyway! Oh, and the "short stories" by Dominic Fripp were amazing! I loved it. It's too bad my vinyl copy(which was sent to me by me mates in Detroit) didn't have them included. On the INFONET thread, i've just given the Bandulu 'guidance' album the thrice over, and i'm thoroughly impressed and satisfied! What happened to this trio since then?

Well, when I complete my new site in a couple of months, I'll go back to doing reviews of the latest n greatest in our "genre-defying" musiks of late! Hold tight! Derek http://www.ccd.cccoes.edu/~djordan

G'day, Just had a listen to Wagon Christ's 'Phat Lab Nightmare' at the rekkid store today, but it was a scratchy old vinyl and I'm after the CD. I see Ear-Rational has it for US$21.75 - ouch. Can someone tell me if this CD is still in print in the UK? Cheers, Geoff

$20 isn't an unusual amount to pay for a imported full length on CD, but, unfortunately, PLN is out of print and has been for some time. If you can find it, snap it up. grant.h.horne http://delta.is.tcu.edu/~ghhorne/

well.. it could just be that they did one album.. anyway, everyone I've talked to says that discotheque is pop, and only that. and for some reason (doesn't surprise me) MTV can't seem to stop playing it. -- __ __\ \ Aurafix aka Hillie / PHD ^ DAMONES / /_\ \ http://www.clark.net/pub/buh/index.html \_____/ >> buh@clark.net >> < > .. >> .<>> >> > , m7= Do re mi fa so la ti ..
