May or may not be of interest to folks on the list, but I just picked up subCONCIOUS Comms. new comp cd, Paradigm Shift, a collection of industrial/techno material... some pretty intense material here... all of which (aside from 2 tracks) is new or unreleased previously... includes aDuck, Download, Dead Voices on the Air, Philth, Kone, Plateau, Skinny Puppy, and Doubting Thomas... Ranges from idm/industrial/techno/harsh beats to noise/expiremntal... anyways, I drifted from the industrial scene as there was very little come out of it of any interest... nothing original aside from a few bands (ie Haujobb), but Download & most of the subConscious roster are putting out quality, original material that isn't all that far from what I've discovered here... anyways, there ya go... __________________________________________ np: seefeel - quique sfwd@sonic.net C.H.U.D. & The Stuff... oh yeah, i got this last week and i have been unable to stop listening. this is the real shit. (modulo the two lame tracks from the tear garden - *sigh* how the mighty are fallen...) the plateau and kone stuff is particularly interesting... i wonder who is really in these bands... i just got this album today. I've only listened to a few tracks so far but i can tell that its going to be good. I did listen to the tear garden stuff and those arent nearly as good as the album, which had its bad tracks. I also got the new Nick Cave album and its pretty tame, but good.
