Irdial-Discs presents 'Suite of Destruction V4.0.8.9', the continuation of
our
experimentation with audio compression on-line.
'SoD-V4.0.8.9' takes the form of weekly 'broadcasts' from InterFace FM at:

using the RealAudio compression system.

Radio stations around the globe are invited to tap our programme and
re-distribute it live, at zero cost. You will need to have RealAudio 3 or 4
installed to hear/redistribute the programme.

Simply plug the outputs of your sound card into your mixing desk, and
transmit
the incoming signal live. There will be no profanity. Our transmissions
will
be
original 'real-time destruction maneuver pieces', the final sound
manipulation
being the method of transmission. When you tune into the programme, the
best
results will be achieved by minimising your connection speed, and
maximising
the
load on your connection, by ftp'ing files, intensive browsing and any other
bandwidth sapping processes you can find. The built in error correction of
RealAudio is an integral part of the SoD-V4.0.8.9 transmissions, so it is
essential that you distress your connection as much as you can.
N.B. If you are a radio station, and decide to PIRATE the signal, how are
we
going to stop you?
We encourage you to send us recordings of our programme made from your own
systems, for incorporation into future transmissions.
Transmissions take place every Monday, at 21:30 GMT.
