Thought I'd jump on the Real Audio bandwagon. I've installed a personal server on my Linux box. Next step is to encode some of my tracks (which are currently only available as wavs on my home page at the moment). Visit http://graviton.levels.unisa.edu.au/bad.news/ to experience my lo-fi (28.8 RA2.0) test broadcast (copyright lawyers excepted). Done. But I used the crappy 11kHz, 8bit wavs as the source files for the encoder. Yuck! At least the page is now better- equipped for instant gratification. BTW, the server only allows for 2 simultaneous serves.
