ok, since so many of you have written me, I'm posting all the info on the
flyer for this:
"jocky thrill recording artist" Trans-Am, and Deplorable will be playing
here Friday night, there is no time mentioned, I would venture around
10pm the show starts... Its $3 at Eclectic (House).
They never ask for Wesleyan ID at the door, so if you
don't say that you are not from here, they wont ask you for ID etc etc.
If you mention you are from out of town, usually you just have to put your
name on a list etc. its no big deal. I would guess the show will not be
very crowded since there is a big "Battle of the bands" with Wesleyan
bands occuring on the same night.
I apologize if this post bothers some people , I remind you, you could
have hit delete when you saw the subject...and i don't have time to write
everyone who wanted info....
Wesleyan (as seen on MTVs "Freaks Nerds and Wierdos")is in Middletown CT
1hr45min from NYC, 2hrs frm Boston, 20min from Hartford 20min from New
Haven....
For directions(its really easy to get here)
call Admissions and tell them your "coming to visit" and they'll be glad
to help you at or forward your call to someone who will, at
860-685-2978,or call
860-685-2000 for the switchboard and tell them you need directions and
they'll transfer you to somone. you need to call between 9am-4pm
if you call at all other times, call 860-685-2345 to get "Public Safety"
and maybe they could help. or you could e-mail me, but I don't know how
many of you I could answer by friday....

ps if you get here and transam is lame, the "battle of the bands" thing
should be good theres a good "techno" guy performing, as well as a seminal
rap group(Masterminds, opened for Tribe Called Quest, Jeru the Damaja etc)
+ many others, and this is free...
but im assuming that if you are coming, unlike me, you've heard/heard of
transam before and would enjoy seeing them..
