Oh god, there is absolutely no need to pay US$30! Three cheaper options: 1. Me - as a few of you already know. ;) This particular CD is only 2,000yen for some reason, which is less than the usual album pricing (3,000yen). With the yen falling like crazy, it amounts to about US$17 or UKP10 at the current rate. With postage, it's still like US$20 or UKP12. 2. Geoffrey Elgey <elgey@fit.qut.edu.au>reported a domestic release down under, which is probably even cheaper if it's less than the album price there too. 3. Mr.Eden over at Warp just posted:

So, definitely do NOT pay $30, contact me or Geoff if you really want one now, or wait for it to show up in your local store on sale for $11. :) the thrifty IDMer, Satoko NP: "Daisy World Tour" comp (the first release from Haruo Hosono's own label, Daisyworld, contains tracks by members of HAT, plus Jonah Sharp, Paul Shutze, etc. Japan-only, so I hear.) NextUp: HAT - Tokyo-Frankfurt-NewYork (the second release from Daisyworld. Thanks Chris, for letting me listen to it first.) ************************************************** Satoko Takatomi takatomi@mars.dtinet.or.jp (home sweet home) takatomi.s@pg.com (weekdays, 9-5) **************************************************
