The ULP 12" is great BTW. Kinda Global Comms.

There was a Sensurreal LP released wasn't there? On BMU? Reviews anyone?

Yet it... isn't. I think the main problem with the 12"s is that having heard the live stuff, the _Urmur Bile_ stuff just shrinks into insignificance. Its like Mike has done some mad stuff for the live shows and then watered it down to make it more listenable/releasable. And it didn't really need it.

Fair enough - I always got off on his _Swan Vesta_ style, achingly beautiful techno tracks.

Yep Chris. Agreed about the comp. (I thought it was pretty bunk) and also about Woody's track - the original _Rattlesnake_ green-vinyl pressing was loud enough to get your neighbours banging on the wall. And this is when you've got your headphones jacked in. Nuts stuff. I love the Directional Force remix of that Vogel track though. And Vogels _Lambda_ 12" on Mag. North is excellent. _____ / ,-,_) /,_) (/ RISH Cleans all bathroom stains Bathrooms everywhere, UK /dev/null || [CiM] || simonw@ftp.com || http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Alley/4492/
