<where did the moniker autechre come from...> FAQT Magazine #1, March 1996, Interview with Rob & Sean. Q: Where does the name come from? A: Off a computer screen. We were naming a track and in the track window we typed in a few letters (only allows for eight characters). The name was pronounceable and we liked the sound of it. It's not really important.
