Ok, for all the SKAM trainspotters out there, take note... On the new U2 single, Discotheque, it reads... "'Discotheque' contains same from 'FANE', performed by Freeform and written by Simon Pike, courtesy of Skam Records." ---brian

yeah Howie B 'borrowed' a bit of Fane (he 'produced' the track for U2) - when whichever major U2 are signed to's lawyers found out, they had a heart attack and phoned andy skam up and started offering him wedges of cash to clear it up as they had already pressed etc. a nice little earner for simon. he mentioned it in some interview somewhere months ago I thought it was old news. you can check out more of howie b's 'work', (as daddy long legs) on that pussy galore pussyfoot compilation - sound familiar Autechre spotters? g.
