God, his label Childisc is full of lesser imitators if you're truly
interested. You won't find the same deep DSP twiddling which I love about
takemura, but the cheesy RPG town-melody tracks are in abundance, in fact too
much so. Avoid Aki Tsuyoko's album, however childisc 3 is ok, good sampler
of the sounds. Has anyone else heard the koota tanemura album or any of the
other childiscers? I see em at Rhino all the time and I'm interested, so let
me know...
