Just to reinforce any earlier suggestions: Breakbeat Science (Volume/Total?) is an excellent initiation album. 2 packed CDs, plus a fat booklet about the artists. Also it set's out to cover the whole scene, not just the dolphin or dark / tech stuff. After that, Techsteppin (Trace/Nico), Logical Progressions (Bukem), Platinum Breaks (MetalHeadz), and the S.O.U.R. and Moving Shadow (Storm from the East, Revolutionary Generation) compilations are all worth checking out. Also look out for Torque, the No U-Turn compilation, when it comes out. Phil ...I feel laaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAve...

enough about this freakin' comp! i swear this has become the squarepusher of jungle comps (read: extremely overrated). better ones include: _new school update_ (sour) _breakbeat science_ (volume) _mind the gap_ (mind the gap) _above the law_ (reinforced) _transcentral connection_ (moving shadow) also, keep your eyes out for a no-u-turn compilation, to be released in the next month or so, as well as j majik's debut long-player on infrared, a comp of sorts of various tracks old and new. sc
