Trainspotting, excercising an obsessive interest in cataloguing / collecting things. Originally train numbers, but with reference to music, basically aquiring vast tracts of detailed (and often useless / irrelevant) information about artists, tracks, labels, equipment. It's not necessarily a bad thing, as long as it doesn't take over your life (besides, this list is full of them, sorry, us).
