Hi Folks, Just been listening to the excellent first CD by Woob on em:t (1194, I think). Can anyone one tell me the source of the vocal sampled in the early sections? It sounds a bit like muezzin calls but is higher pitched, like it is probably a female voice. Please excuse my pitiful non-knowledge of 'world' sources. I would love to track more of this stuff down. I appreaciate the suggestions for further listening that have been appearing. Sonorities by Starlight by Velocette is my vote for most overlooked LP of recent times. Excellent listening techno that never quite goes in the direction you expect it to. It has the funniest and best designed cover I saw all year as well.
