Whats this? A Gonzi post without a plug for his own web-site? Tsk - you're
slipping man :)

I think Chris' comments were fair enough about Squarepusher because _Feed
Me..._ *was* hyped to shit.
As James Skilton, Adam H. (who has good taste in t-shirts BTW) and I have
pointed out, the live Mu-Ziq was pretty damn incredible. Maybe it'll
translate well onto vinyl, maybe not, but whatever - I don't think we're
hyping it, we're just acknowledging something that (for me) was
unexpectedly brilliant.

It'd be a pretty boring world if everyone tuned, EQ'd and panned their
bassdrum kicks to the same values. Personally, I always liked the sketchy
approach Mike has to programming his rhythms - sometimes it works
perfectly, other times it's totally incongruous (sp) but darn it, it
usually just seems to work.

Rich admitted this on "Mixing It" (UK radio show) - he said he was really
into the stuff that Luke Vibert was doing (at the time) but that 95% of
other jungle was "boring".
