Thermal turned me on to a new-ish disc on Sub Rosa under the name of Bisk
entitled _Time_. This collection of 9 tracks by one Naohiro Fujikawa (ring
a bell, anyone?) is the best IDM I've heard in many moons! Heavily
jazz-influenced vibes and brass meet crunchy, playful percussion with a
heavy dose of synthetic weirdness. (I'd say more, but I want to avoid some
sort of "Oh it's y'know Black Dog meets Autechre in Paul Schutze's laundry
hamper", as accurate as that might be.) Way refreshing to these ears ... I
highly recommend it.
