Various Artists: Hypnotic Sounds: 17 Trips in Trance ---------------------------------------------------- 1996 Hypnotic Good collection of basic trancematter, with yet another trippy sphere-full fearful tearful 3-D moving picture cover. These cuts are generally available in many other comps, but this is a good sampler for a diverse range of trance-asciousness from the 1990s. FSOL - Expander (remix) System 7 - Mektoub (Youth mix) Kraftwelt - Deranged (Uberzone mix) Astralasia - Madam Juno Reactor - Feel the Universe Anubian Lights - Jackal and Nine 17 cuts total. One self-followup, pardon me: A few cuts on this comp would have been better left off, that is, tasteless club cannon fodder. Wouldn't you sometimes prefer a good 12-cut comp than having those 5 extra lame cuts contaminating your collection just to fill up the time on the CD? Anyway, the approximately 12 cuts that are good are good, and the others...well, CD players are programmable...! 3
