I agree 10000%. I am so glad that I was into the whole breakdance thing
as a kid. I still have the "wiki-wiki-wiki" runnin' thru my bones. If
you are really looking into some killer electro (old school) listen up.
Tommy Boy had a double vinyl called 14 Greatest Beats. I may be wrong
about the title, but I am certain that on the cover there were three
guys (a latino, a black guy with a pink hat, and the other Hmmm?), all
in addidas gear with the fat shoelaces, posing in breakdance moves that
forms the Tommy Boy Logo (they still use today!) Anyone here know what I
am referring to?
I asked Dave at Ear/rational about this one. He said that Tommy boy
still has something called Greatest Hits from '83. I told him to order
it anyway. I may be wrong with the title, so let's hope it's the same. I
would agree that it's from the same time period. If I get it I will post
a review.
'til then,

ps Is there some other OLD SCHOOL person here who may have a discography
of Egyptian Lover? He had a pink 12" that came out a year or two after
"egypt, egypt" that went unnoticed and was 10times better! It's too bad
I got rid of all my old breakdance records, they became frisbees back
then (remember?)
