" >> Hmmmm... I would have to agree if it's in the context of a Michael Bolton techno remix by the balding wonder himself - just because techno is this cool new thing he and his fans see as hip. If on the other hand it is in the context of - Well it's not (in this case) from Detroit, than it's not really "Techno" because it's out of it's geographical and demographic context. That's just plain silly. In previous generations this may have been true. Now with the distribution of music and the ease in which people can find out about it, those lines have been erased.
