I'm pretty sure this is just another alias for the Dog (as was). Echo Mikes (sp) are these cheap fluorescent toy plastic mics you can buy at dodgy British seaside souvenir shops. They have some spring stuff in the bottom that makes your voice well, echo surprisingly enough. Although they usually get used by kids to smash each other over the head. What was I talking about again?

Well, not sure about that but yeah, the _Phils_ are amazing - an integral part of the LP for. More so than in _Spanners_ where the _Bolts_ don't seem to work as well (IMO).
