with all the recent Middleton/Pritchard talk... this shouldn't be overlooked: SENSORAMA - "Aspirin" (Global Communication Rmx) from _Zu Gast Auf Der Welcome Insel_/Ladomat 2000, LCD2034/DO12-2034) 12:53 of superb aqua-spherics... sounds like there's actually a guitar and piano in there, like a blissfully slow blue-tinted Bark Psychosis - better than anything on _76:14_ and as essential as the Reload LP. no beat whatsoever, unlike the "breakbeatless Boymerang"-styled original track (where the minimal pulse is entirely supplied by the bassline). Twice as long as the _Welcome Insel_ track... undiluted chill-out nirvana. file with MLO's _Io_ project and Anthony Manning's _Chromium Nebulae_ Aspirin. you know... this probably works better than the real thing! Plaid, Mouse on Mars, Move D, Claude Young, and Born Under a Rhyming Planet provide the other five remixes. all of which DO feature beats. all of which are fantastic. this little album is an unsung treasure. Sensorama = Roman Fl?gel (Ro70/Acid Jesus/etc) and J?rn Elling swooningly... GuerillaG2-G4 np: Eyeless in Gaza fending off frustration & keeping the ears happy while trying to conjure up 400wds worth of new thoughts on _Richard D. James_. AAARGH!
